Sequence 1: London

The first meeting for Centrifugal took place at the Finnish Institute London: January 29th, 2006
Curator, Taru Elfving introduced the project; the notion of Centrifugal as a nodal model that might allow questions to be developed around centre and periphery, the postcolonial within Europe, micro urban histories, and the function of large metropolitan centres such as London today. Centrifugal might also propose specific modes of working that allow process, research and time to work together without focus on outputs.
